About me

I started out in local newspapers as a trainee with the Liverpool Post and Echo group after graduating with a degree in Geography from the University of Sussex. I’ve worked as a Westminster-based political reporter with the Press Association and was a national newspaper Environment Correspondent. My last staff job was as a production journalist with BBC TV working with John Craven on Countryfile and on the consumer programme The Really Useful Show. I’ve also had experience of working on the other side of the fence during a spell as PR for the National Forest. When I’m not working I like to be out and about in west Wales walking, kayaking, wildlife-watching and pub-hunting.
